Which country is home to the largest wetland in the world?

The Red Beach in Panjin, China is the world’s biggest wetland and reed marsh.   Over 265 bird species and 399 kinds of wild animals call it home.

The red expanses are created by a species of red seaweed called sueda that dominates the Red Beach. This seaweed stays green for most of the year, then transforms into a dark, cherry-red color in the fall.
